Kinkeel's sire, Hubbly Bubbly (USA) breeds top class staying chasers.
Kinkeel is a 9-Y-O (late June foal) bay gelding. One of our gamest and best-loved horses. A very fine jumper of a fence with a classy National Hunt pedigree.
Placed 11 times in Steeplechases with earnings of over £13,500 in prize money, Kinkeel is rarely out of the frame. His bold galloping style and ability to cope with any conditions have won praise from many Club members.
Better still, his last two starts have been his best as Kinkeel is now in his jumping prime and we know what he needs and likes. He needs 3 miles + (as with Idle Talk (IRE) 14th in the 2008 National, Bubble Boy (IRE), Cloudy Bays (IRE) - all the same sire - by Hubbly Bubbly(USA)) and his doesn't need blinkers, tongue strap, cheek pieces or any other accessory! Only once so far has Kinkeel raced over 3 miles, a good 3rd at Taunton in a Class 4 Novice Chase, close up behind a 135 and a 145 rated horse. Click here to view the race. Kinkeel is a fine stamp of a horse. He runs well fresh and we hope he will turn into a decent staying chasing in the mud, in NH Season 2008/9.
His ultimate target is the last race on the Grand National card, Aintree's fences over 3 miles.

His courageous battling 2nd at Wetherby (03/01/07) on heavy ground was one of our favourite races of 2007, pictured below Wetherby Jan 3rd 2007 in his 1st start back over fences.
He races nationwide, so where ever you live, he's likely to be at a meeting near you sometime.
This is a wonderful competition prize.
It is possible to purchase a similar item outright. A 1/20th share in Kinkeel (IRE) and 3 years membership of the Group 1 Racing 2008 Club (5 horses currently in training)
will cost you £615 and £22 per month (for 12 months) initial first year keep contribution.
A standing order arrangement can be made available including the capital sum if required.
