* Membership of Group 1 Racing provides collective ownership in a string of racehorses, with free tickets to the races and access to the gallops at our trainer’s yard, near Evesham. In addition, regular updates and news are provided via www.grouponeracing.com with an exclusive members' area.
10% of net proceeds will be donated to the Greatwood charity, which combines caring for retired racehorses with interaction for special needs children.
The Club was established as a collective ownership group in order for "enthusiasts" to be able to actively participate in the Sport of Kings's (at the highest level.) It is a non-commercial society.
As such we are eligible and fairly recently in the Club's history (July 2008) granted a small lotteries license so that the Club can now run raffles for fund raising.
An important part of this initiative is the donation of a part of the net proceeds to charities in support of racehorse re-homing, welfare and re-training and for this raffle we have chosen Greatwood Caring for Retired Racehorses and Children with Special Needs as the charity to benefit.
