SEPTEMBER 2011. Due to a minor leg injury (heat in her leg at the back of her knee) Group 1 Racing have retired Pips Assertive Way and she is available for sale as a broodmare. A good home is essential, as the Club likes to keep contact with the locations of where their ex-racehorses have gone!

A winner of 5 hurdles races, placed 6 times and winner of over £19,000 in prize money, she was tough and enthusiastic and will produce some lovely NH foals. Please phone 07768-415609 or email sfoster@grouponeracing.com to discuss further.

Foaled 23 May 2001, chestnut mare by Nomadic Way(USA) (16.0f) - Return To Brighton (Then Again(7.6f))

Pips Assertive Way is a 5 times winner and over £19,000 of earnings over hurdles. Front running and a consistent performer, she is one of the Club favourites. Her dam, Return to Brighton, won on the flat and over hurdles, (breaking the course record at Fontwell Park) and was placed a further 10 times. The Club initially leased Pip from her private owner, an ex-Club member who bred her and now lives in Western Australia, but now part own her.

Pip also won NH Season 2008 at Stratford 31/7/08 backed from 18/1 to 8's on a Hydrex (our Sponsor's) client hospitality day.!

Possibly her best effort, badly hampered but placed 4th in a Class 3 mares h'cap hurdle on Sunday 20th June 2009 at Hereford.

As enthusiastic as ever, Pips Assertive Way a fast closing 3rd at Stratford Click here to view her run. Then stabled for the Summer of 2010 in Jersey with a view to winning The Jersey Champion hurdle, it didn't work out and she is now retired and for sale as a broodmare.
