THE GROUP 1 RACING 2012 CLUB - THE LEADING N.H. CLUB

Contact Details

The Group 1 Racing Club is a small, friendly and very successful racehorse ownership group established in 1989 (Group 1 Racing (1989) Ltd.) As you can expect as an owner, an owner's badge is GUARANTEED where the Club has a runner and there is therefore NO ballot process for badges.

Most horses trained by Club trainer Tony Carroll - THE trainer going places - with 21 WINNERS SO FAR in 2012 (by 17/4/12) AND 70 WINNERS in 2011 including 2-Y-O LISTED race winner Dijarvo at Maisons Laffitte and a 500/1+ treble on the day (9/6/11) as recommended by Group 1!

Established over 20 years we have a great past history, but an even brighter future! With 9 winners in 2009, 6 in 2010 and 6 in 2011,making us the leading N.H. Club over the last 3 years 2009-2011, yet with only 89 Club members! The Club's record in Season 2010/11 we finished with 6 winners from 43 starts and £17,041, on page 7 of the 2010-2011 GB NH OWNERS STATISTICS. We also finished high up the N.H. owners' prize money list in the previous 2 seasons with prize money of £28,926 in 2008-9 and £20,999 in 2009-10. This NH Season 2011-12, the Club has a strong NH horse string.

We have room for 8 more Club members, before a waiting list is applied, as we have a ceiling of 100 members.

Enjoy our differences. Not simply an opportunity to "follow every one of the horses owned by the Club" but also experience real shared racehorse ownership - and all that comes with true ownership - at the low cost of £795 all in (or a £100 deposit and £25 per month) for 3 years' Club membership!

Free access to your horses, gallops and trainer plus owners' badges at the races (on every occasion you want to go!) Enjoy the owners' and trainers' paddock and winners' enclosure - as an owner (not a number) with a small, personalised, non-profit making and non-commercial but hugely professional and a nationwide collective ownership group. See our testimonials and Gallery to get a real feel of what we are about. No newsletters - instead much better - a daily updated on-line members' section!

23 CLUB WINNERS AND 93 FRAME PERFORMANCES IN 2007/12 TO-DATE WITH LOTS MORE TO COME. IF YOU ARE A RACING ENTHUSIAST, PLEASE JOIN US!

Be with us when Kinkeel breaks the World Record for number of steeplechases completed as a by-product of the way he races. Currently he has run 99 steeplechases winning 5, 2nd 18 times and rarely out of the frame, collecting over £52,000 in prize money, Kinkeel is a tough horse who thrives on racing and performs better when turned out quickly rather than leaving him 3 or 4 weeks as is the norm for steeplechasers. Because he is such a good jumper of a fence - if not the best! - he never comes back with a mark on him, again what few other chasers do, which also permits us to run him again soon. Placed 5th in the Class 1 Desert Orchid s'chase at Kempton 27th Dec 2011 (pictured below), earning £1200 in the process and 2nd at Southwell on his latest start (18/1/12). Last season a Towcester winner (23/1/11.) In NH Season 2011/12 will set a record (currently held by Blazing Dawn - 104 steeplechases run) that is unlikely to ever be broken. We're also hoping to win with him - at Towcester, Hereford or Southwell - the day he breaks the world record!

WEDNESDAY 1 December 2010

STOP PRESS: PADDY POWER'S "TINGLE CREEK" PREVIEW.
"Although far less of a star than Paul Nicholls’ duo, there has been a surge of bets for 500/1 outsider, Kinkeel. Based on all known form, the veteran of an incredible 76 chases is well behind the leading protagonists, but the sizable price has caught the eye of plenty of punters and in terms of bet volume, the outsider is by far and away the most backed horse in the race. It would require the type of performance Kinkeel has never suggested was possible throughout his long career, but certainly he seems to get some peoples’ senses tingling."
